Lantern Festival at The Gardens of Light
Brief: Design a theme for Jardin Botanique's annual lantern festival and create print assets for promotional use. We would like one billboard poster, a brochure, a ticket design and a food truck wrap. Provide print ready files and mock ups.
The Process: Researching the organization provided me with a basic style guide, values of the group and information on past themes chosen. From this I designed a theme to combine their mission to honor the past while marking a sustainable way to the future. This matches the organization’s mission and values.
I did illustrations of basic symbols and created the Earth on a lantern as the main motif that could carry over to all assets.
The Result: Engaging designs for a bus stop poster, a brochure guide, a ticket design and a Sushi food truck wrap that would stand out in the crowd. Provided both print ready and mock up versions. Grade of 100%
